What makes Indian cow special
• Indian cow being native of this country does easily adapt to local tropical environment. Domestic cow is tolerant to heat and can tolerate up to 48-50 degree Celsius and remain healthy. 
• Domestic cow's body size is small to medium. So the food requirement is less. 
• Indian cow has HUMP which helps in ploughing fields. Domestic bulls are more powerful in weight pulling and ploughing.
• Domestic cow's has a bigger dewlap which helps in tolerating high temperature.
• Domestic cow has smaller udder hence mastitis disease is uncommon.
• Domestic cows have been generated from real cow! Nilgai cow's status is not that of a cow. While exotic breeds, and are a mixture of reindeer, Chilighum, stag etc. so it is a milking animal and not cow.
Indigenous cows have strong immunity, outbreaks of different diseases are seen in low profile. Frequency of illness is more in the exotic cows.
Domestic cow repels flies and Mosquitoes and remains clean. Foreign cows remain dirty and flies are hovering on them. Exotic breeds have more milk but less nutrients
Milk of indigenous cows is more beneficial, micronutrients like cytokines and minerals present enhance the immune system.
Many drugs are prepared with Indigenous cow urine. Domestic cow’s milk and urine cure many ailments.
Even if the chemical infested feed is given to indigenous cows its effect in milk is negligible as indigenous cows take all ill effects on its body.

Ancient scripture state that “Suryaketu” nerve on Indian cow’s back absorbs harmful radiations and cleanses atmosphere. Mere presence of cows is a great contribution to environment. Cow dung has antiseptic, anti radioactive and anti thermal properties. When we coat the walls and clean the floors of house with cow dung, it protects the dwellers. Atomic power centres in India and Russia even today use cow dung to shield radiation. African deserts were made fertile using cow dung. We can reduce acid content in water by treating it with cow dung. When we offer ghee in fire as part of ritualistic sacrifices, it strengthens the ozone layer and shields the earth from harmful radiations from Sun.
